We're here to show you how to attach the crampon claw to a TTS Transit that has already been mounted to a ski. This does require removing the toe piece from the ski and re-attaching it. Tune in to find out what tools you'll need and how to attach the crampon claw.
Required tools:
- Pozidriv #3 Screwdriver
- T10 Torx Screwdriver
- 2 part Epoxy or Wood Glue
- Paper clip
Instructions:
1. Use the Pozidriv #3 Screwdriver to remove the four screws that mount the toe-piece to the ski.
2. Attach the crampon claw to the toe-piece (be sure it's popped in place).
3. Use the T10 Torx Screwdriver to screw the crampon claw onto the toe-piece.
4. Fill the four toe-piece mount holes on the skis with your Epoxy or Wood Glue.
5. Use the end of a paper clip to spread the Epoxy or Wood Glue within the holes on the ski.
6. Reattach the toe-piece to the ski with the Pozidriv #3 Screwdriver. (Be sure to not overtighten and strip out the screws). "
